Why Am I Here

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5 ESV

I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

Psalm 57:2

“Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.

Job 22:21

I have talked about all three of these chapters in previous posts. Jeremiah was called as a prophet by God. His prophecy would be to give out a warning but also hope to the people. In the book of Psalms it’s a way to show God’s faithfulness, hope for the people, God’s promises, God responding to all of the crisis, and God hearing the crisis of the people.Lastly, in the book of Job he’s going through a time where he is suffering and he debates with his friends on why God is allowing him to go through the things he’s going through. His suffering is not a divine punishment. Job demands God to explain himself and he reveals to Job everything that he has to do for the world and this makes Job realize  that he should be grateful.

A lot of you may have questioned, God why am I in this position ? Why am I here ? Why am I going through this ? Why can’t I win ? What is it that you want me to have in this season ? The answer is in your silence. Allow God to work in your life and the answer will be shown. They say what’s done in the dark comes to light and God is our light and salvation. How about you just trust in him. He has a testimony on the way for you just hold on. You’re  a child of God with a purpose this is why you’re here.
