Dark Spot Remedies

Hey beauties I hope you’ve been catching up on life. For this week’s blog I wanted to talk about some of the best home remedies for skin care. I must first say that I’m not a dermatologist however as a licensed cosmetologist I’ve learned about the basic skin types. If you’re concerned about these remedies I highly suggest talking to your dermatologist. With that being said here are a few home remedies I think will help your skin within the next 4- 8 weeks.

  1. The lemon method

A few pros about lemons are that it promotes hydration, it’s high in vitamin C ( which helps protect cells from damaging free radicals), it may help reduce skin wrinkles, dry skin from aging, and damage from the sun. Have you ever tried lemon juice as a dark spot remover ? It’s a good method to try by using a fresh lemon, cutting it in half and squeezing the juice out into a bowl. Make sure to apply the juice on dark spot areas with a cotton ball and sleep with the lemon juice on your skin over night. When waking up make sure to rinse your face and proceed with using your regular cleansing skin care products. Try this for about 4-8 weeks and you should see some type of results.

  2. Aloe Vera

A few results that aloe vera is know for are healing burns, sunburns, small abrasions, cuts, and dry skin. When using aloe vera gel for dark spots make sure to gently rub it on the skin and sleep with it overnight. When waking up in the morning, be sure to rinse it off with cool water and proceed with your daily skin routine..Try this for the next 4-8 weeks.

I hope you enjoy these home remedies. If you’re looking for some skin care products I suggest either clean & clear products ( I’ve been using this for years) as well as Moonxcosmetic which is a black own skincare company that I learned about a few months ago. They’re known for quick skin results. I hope this helps you out some and remember good skin is everything especially for my makeup beauties.
