Which Hair Oil Is Best For Me ?
Hey beauties , happy first week of August !!! New month, new goals, and yes time for some new hair care techniques. On this week’s blog I wanted to discuss the different type of hair oils for you to try out as well as talk about some new hair care products I learned about !!!! Now let’s chop it up ….
The Importance Of Oiling Your Hair ?
Oiling your hair on a regular basis helps give your hair the nutrients it needs. Another benefit about oiling your hair is that the oil helps with dry scalp and dandruff which usually is caused because of a dry scalp. Oiling your hair can also prevent extreme hair breakage.
The Different Oil Types
Here are a few of the most popular hair oils:
Avocado Oil : helps with dry and damaged hair
Argan Oil (which is my favorite) : helps with damaged hair , frizzy hair, and good for hair growth
Castor Oil : helps prevent dry scalp and improves scalp blood circulation
Coconut Oil : helps with moisturizing and strengthening your hair
Jojoba Oil : helps with hair loss
Olive Oil: helps with making the hair elastic and good for deep conditioning
These oils can be used in many other ways however, make sure you talk to your stylist about which one they believe will be the best fit for YOUR hair. If you have any questions or concerns you can always book a consultation with SDA.
Looking for some hair care products ?
So this week I learned about a new hair care product called ButtaGrow Hair Care. It’s all 100% natural, organic, and hand crafted !!!!! This product line is good for all hair types.
A few of the items that you can find from ButtaGrow Hair care is their famous hair butter which can be used on your body as well as a leave in conditioner for your hair. Another popular product from this haircare line is their hair oil that can be used on your lashes , eyebrows, and beards. YES THEY’RE UNISEX, meaning that women and men can use these products as well as children !!! For my natural girls, combine the hair butter and oil together to get the best results on your LCO (liquid, cream, and oil) or LOC (liquid, oil, and cream) method. As a women with colored hair I’m in love with their rejuvenating rosemary shampoo because it’s a sulfate free cleanser that removes build up without drying out or stripping your hair. I try to stay away from anything that will strip out my color so that’s a plus for me. I’m also feeling the rosemary moisturizing conditioner. Rosemary is a great ingredient to any haircare product because it helps with hair growth, prevents dandruff, and soothes the scalp. So just from observing all of these products, what put the icing on the cake for me was the scalp scrub which removes excess oil from the hair, removes dirt, and balances PH levels in the hair. I know this blog has been about oiling your hair but for my girls with oily hair/scalps, this scalp scrub will help. As a master cosmetologist I know that you usually see results starting at 4 weeks if you’re being consistent so when trying these these products on a daily basis I suggest giving it 4- 6 weeks to see results and 3 months max to see a full turn around.
What makes this haircare line the bomb.com for me is that they have a sample package for you to try which is now $29.99. Now that’s a deal and you can’t beat that sis !!! We all go through the phase of spending hundreds of dollars trying to find the perfect product and you can get the whole line in a sample kit for only $29.99 ?
