Hey beauties, as we continue our topic of breast cancer I want to talk about ways to lower the risk of having it. Although these methods aren’t a 100% guarantee, it’s a way to a healthier lifestyle and a healthy lifestyle is always better.

Ways to Lower Your Risk

  • Limit alcohol use

    This one is self explanatory. Limiting your alcohol can lower your risk.

  • Don't smoke

    Smoking causes a lot of side affects in the long run. Be mindful of smoking so much as well as try to stop smoking for good.

  • Control your weight

    Being overweight or obese can increase the risk of breast cancer for you. Try eating healthier as well as tracking your calories to help lose or maintain your weight.

  • Be physically active

    Working out can help you maintain a healthy weight and help prevent breast cancer.

  • Breast-feeding

    Study shows the longer you breast-feed, the more protected you are. So for my mommy to be’s and new mommies this is something you can join in.

    Although I only addressed five subjects on how to lower the risk of breast cancer, there are plenty more ways. These are a few ways to start now ! Your body is depending on you for this.
