Breast Cancer Doesn’t Always Start With A Lump

Many people believe that if they don’t have a lump on their breast than they’re safe from breast cancer. So not true sis , your breast size, shape, and even texture can be a sign that the cancer is present.

Men Can Get Breast Cancer

Yes men can have it too !!! The most common sign for men is a lump found in their chest. Early detection of male breast cancer can lead to a higher survival rate. 

Alcohol Is Linked To Breast Cancer

Drinking alcohol on a daily basis can increase a woman’s risk of having breast cancer. Try limiting your alcohol intake.

These are just a few of the unknown facts about breast cancer but there are many more. Although the month is ending the disease is still a thing throughout the year. Remember to start performing regular breast self-exams so that you know if there is a change in your breasts. Continue to also get your yearly mammograms and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about your breast.
