Where Would I Truly Be
Song : Tye Tribbett - What Can I Do
All things are done according to God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning. (Ephesians 1:11) KJV
You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father and were made a holy people by his Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be purified by his blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure. (1 Peter 1:2) KJV
When reading the book of Ephesians it can be summarized to experiencing the power of God, the love he has for us, how we’re one within him , there will be forces that will try to remove you from what God has for you, but through it all how you can grow and mature as followers of Jesus Christ.
In 1 Peter somethings that I highlighted from this text is that you should leave your former life for a better future, suffering is a way to bare witnesses to Jesus and can bring clarity to your mission, the chosen people of God, how God chose you, you can be born again, life hardships can deepen our faith in God, and there’s hope in the mist of suffering.
From these books I took things that we deal with in life and came up with the topic, “Where would you truly be” if you continued to still be in that:
Relationship : If God didn’t ordain for you to be with that person then what are you doing with them. You can’t keep fighting for something that doesn’t want to be kept. Accept the fact that God has something better for you. Everything has lessons behind it. God brings people in our lives to overall make us better in the end. If it went bad it showed you the worse side of you and hopefully made you want to do better rather you get a life coach or do a self evaluation that you need to do better.
Void filler : If you continue using those substances to relieve the pain MENTALLY then it won’t make that toxic thing in your life better it’s just something for you to do to get your mind off of what’s going wrong and to not deal with it at the moment. There are other ways to fill a void but I decided to talk about substances.
Sexual Relationship : Doing things like this with the wrong person to make them stay won’t do it. There’s nothing physical you can do for the man/woman God has in store for you.
Job : It was a reason God made them fire you or made you decide to leave. He has something better for your income, something to make you have a reality check, and sometimes to make you stress free. Don’t look at anything as harm we’re God’s people and he won’t leave us nor forsake us. His way is more peaceful when you allow him to truly have 100% control.
There are so many other things I could bring up for this topic but moral of the story is the pain is temporary whatever it may be. If you continue to go down that route that you’re currently going it will make things worse for you. 7/10 you put yourself in that predicament and it wasn’t apart of Gods plan or decision for you.Allow God to do his thing. Trust the process and know his plans are not to harm but to prosper. It hurts because that’s what you wanted rather it be that job , relationship, that house etc. A good friend once said to me would you rather have what you asked for or something that makes you more happier and fulfilled. Let God give you more than what you asked for. Just have faith.
