Settle With Me

The book of Psalms is based on Hebrew poems from mainly King David but there are other writers in this book. Psalms is the prayer book of God’s people and is broken down into 5 sections. In book 1 it is about God’s faithfulness, book 2 is about hope, book 3 is about God’s promises, book 4 is about God responding to all of the crisis , and book 5 is about God hearing the crisis of the people and will one day send the future King . From the entire book it has 2 type of poems one being lament which is the pain in the world and the other being poems of praise which is joy and celebration to what’s good in the world . It strives to teach us to not ignore the pain of our lives but to look forward to the promise God gave us.
For the topic “Settle With Me” I think of the things we settle for such as :
How people treat us : we settle to let people treat us unfairly rather it be a friendship, family, or romantic a relationship. Right is right and wrong is wrong don’t allow people to use you when you get nothing in return.
We settle in jobs because we need the money but remember your peace and health is more important than the stress your’e going through.
We settle for so many things so why not settle with God. He is the one who has the bigger purpose for us. When we settle for him we get more and I don’t mean settle for him in a bad way because it’s not enough I mean settle in a way as to lay down what we’re going through and give it to God. Delight yourself in him and everything you want plus more will be given to you. Stay with God, stay with his word, and stay with his promise because everything you need to settle for is in the bible. We settle for worldly things that bring harm but when you stay in the promise he can give you more than you ask for. God sent me to be a messenger and to let the viewers know to settle with what you’re going through with God’s name in the center of it and watch where it goes from there. He is the way, the light, and the TRUTH. Leave everything in God’s hand and watch how it works. Don’t fight things yourself let God do it . Settle with HIM.
