Hosea 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Isaiah 61:7 King James Version (KJV)

For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Job 42:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Hosea was called to speak on God’s behalf during the chaos of the city of Israel . Hosea had a broken marriage where his wife committed adultery however God still told Hosea to go find his wife and fix their marriage. This was a symbol to the people of Israel that although they have forsaken God he will eventually come and rescue the people.

In the book of Isaiah I have stated in previous messages such as “Fix it”, that  God sent a  servant out to allow the other servants to know that they will  end up inheriting God’s kingdom but it will be for those who repent who will truly inherit the new Jerusalem. However, in the end of this book  everyone is welcomed to know about this new creation and accept God as their redeemer and will be able to receive all of his promises.

Lastly, in the book of Job he is set in UZ which is far away from Israel. Job is going through a time where he is suffering and he debates with his friends on why God is allowing him to go through the things he’s going through. His suffering is not a divine punishment. Job demands God to explain himself and he reveals to Job everything that he has to do for the world and this makes Job realize  that he should be grateful because it’s impossible for him to run the world as God does. God ends up giving Job double of everything he lost. The summary to receive from this book is good or bad trust God’s wisdom.

During this time I’m pretty sure we’ve all questioned God on why is this is happening or asking him to reveal why is so much happening to this world right now. Why are your people suffering like this? What we have to realize is that even Job once suffered and he was a perfect man of God. What we have to remember is when God replaces things it doesn’t always have to be replaced with the same thing it can be replaced with what you NEED :

Relationships : can be replaced with your dream job. You’ve been praying for this dream job and during this season someone came into your life and it didn’t work now you’re sad but right when God takes what wasn’t even for you away he then replaces it with something you truly desire for.

Jobs :  You can lose the job but you will gain peace again. Your blood pressure can go down now and you won’t have the weight on your shoulder anymore on the thing you hated the most.

Loved Ones :  I would first like to show my sympathy to losing a love one that is a very strong pain to go through. Usually when God takes a love one away from us not far along comes another member of the family (a newborn baby) to bring that new joy that was lost. Think of it as maybe that person has finished their mission from God and it is their time to go home it has nothing to do with you but more of them. For those who lose people it gives you more strength that you didn’t even know you had.

When I think of things being replaced I think of a baby when they’re hungry and upset they begin to cry until you give them a bottle. This is how we act when God takes things away. We’re upset, we don’t know how we’re going to make it, but God doesn’t take away anything he doesn’t plan on replacing. Be thankful that he takes things away from us that we gave too much energy and attention to in the first place. Always trust in his plan and not yours. During this time of COVID-19 think about what is yet to come. What the devil meant for evil God ALWAYS turns it around for our good. Name a time when it didn’t work out in your favor……… God knows what he’s doing in this season.
