Repeated Cycles

1 Corinthians 10:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Proverbs 28:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

James 5:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

In the book of 1 Corinthians Paul comes in as a missionary to talk about Jesus. He ended up writing a letter that had 5 different parts of issues he’s been hearing about such as division in the church, people have sex in the church, and  foods that people were trying to compare as scarifies to other Gods. Through all of these different parts of the letter they all showed that the love of God was the key.The overall meaning behind this letter was to show that we should see every part of life through the gospel.

In the book of Proverbs it’s all about wisdom. It shows us that you can gain wisdom skills by living well in God’s word and having fear of God.  You can’t make your definition of right and wrong but you have to live in a way that God honors. Proverbs is not promises that your life will be so perfect but it shows you a way to live. Proverbs is considered a general rule that every person in every season can follow to live wisely in God’s word.

In the book of James it’s a  letter which is from Jacob who is the half brother of Jesus. Jacob’s goal is to challenge how the people live. He says that we should love God and love thy neighbor as yourself. He also talks about favoritism and love.We tend to show love to people we can benefit from. Another topic he mentions is having genuine faith. Your actions betray what you say you believe in. You can’t speak pain towards people and praise God at the same time. Your words tell the truth about your character. Also, the letter mentions how wealth brings arrogance and we have to realize that wealth is something that will go away when we leave this world. The book of James mainly summaries about having patience, hope, and to know that  life is hard trails which  are gifts that can shape our character. You have to decide to choose anxiety or trust God despite your circumstances. He will meet you though your pain.

I notice that people tend to have “Repeated Cycles”, rather it’s relationships, bad spending problems, generational curses, and etc. My advice to anyone who has repeated cycles are admit the issue first then try getting a life coach. It’s ok to talk to someone. Watch sermons similar to your situation and  get into your word. BE STILL. There are so many healing paths with God by just being still. You can’t hear him when you’re moving on your own or trying to make a way out of no way by yourself. Be still and you can hear him. Find out what God is trying to get from you in this season. There’s always something to learn even in the quiet season. Maybe this is the time for you to get in your word or write that book you never finished. There’s always something to do. Sit-down and listen.
